Pultron Composites takes out Excellence in Innovation Award
Gisborne-based hi-tech industrial technology company, Pultron Composites, has taken out the prestigious Excellence in Innovation Award at the Hawkes Bay Export Awards 2022.
“This is a brilliant win for our whole team and goes a long way to acknowledge their talent and dedication.”
Pultron was one of an impressive list of finalists in this category. The awards are judged by a cross-section of business peers and announced at a formal dinner on Thursday, August 26 at the Hastings Toitoi Events Centre.
“The last couple of years have presented some tough challenges. This is a brilliant win for our whole team and goes a long way to acknowledge their talent and dedication. I know we have so much more we can achieve for our customers today and in the future,” says Jasper Holdsworth, Pultron CEO.
“To receive these accolades is a great honor. We have an incredible business community in the region and I would like to acknowledge and congratulate the fellow finalists and winners.”
“Pultron is committed to delivering innovative composite solutions and continuous improvement for our customers. We’re only just getting started,” says Jasper.
Pultron exports products to over 35 countries and has gained a reputation for developing complex glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) customized product solutions for its OEM and other customers. Many of these are world-first products that replace traditional materials such as steel, timber, and aluminum.
Pultron’s GFRP composite solutions are designed to deliver improved durability, price and sustainability in diverse sectors including infrastructure, water treatment, mining and recreation.
Earlier this year Pultron signed a joint venture with F500 company, Owens Corning, on the back of the commercial success of their concrete reinforcement technology, Mateenbar™, which is used in notable infrastructure projects globally.
“Pultron is committed to delivering innovative composite solutions and continuous improvement for our customers. We’re only just getting started,” says Jasper.
